This film is based on the life of Professor Zbigniew Religa, who performed the first successful heart transplant in Poland in the 1980’s. It swept many awards; in 2014, at the Gdynia Film Festival alone it received a total of five awards, including the top prize: the Golden Lions award for Best Film.
