Since 2006, the Austin Polish Film Festival (APFF) has celebrated Polish cinematic and poster arts. Each fall, we present award-winning works from accomplished and upcoming filmmakers and hosts guests like directors, actors, screenwriters, and producers.

Since 2015, APFF has also hosted an international short film competition open to independent filmmakers from around the world.

This year the festival will also feature special screenings of critically acclaimed movies portraying Polish history in honor of the centennial celebration of Poland’s regained independence in 1918.

We are also very excited to announce that the official festival poster for APFF 2018 is designed by Ryszard Kaja. During the festival, we will present an exhibit of Kaja’s work from the travel poster-inspired series Poland as part of the centennial celebrations.
