In a year like no other we have supported each other the best we could. We had to cancel our annual activities, conduct our monthly meetings via ZOOM and handle all business via email or phone. We have missed seeing you and your families. Though difficult, 2020 was an opportunity to spend more time with family, learn something new, make plans for the future, organize our lives, and perhaps read a favorite book again.

However, some of us struggled with fear, loneliness, and perhaps job loss or hunger. Do you know that in Texas, 4,295,240 people are struggling with hunger – and of them 1,598,940 are children? To make a difference, the board of Austin Polish Society voted on a donation of one thousand dollars ($1,000) to the Central Texas Food Bank. The Central Texas Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief charity in Central Texas. A leader in the fight against hunger for nearly 38 years, their mission is to nourish hungry people and lead the community in the fight against hunger. The CTFB is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
