On June 13th, 2019, Polish President Andrzej Duda met with Texas polonia at Our Lady of Czestochowa parish in Houston. A delegation from Austin Polish Society was present. During the meeting, various Polish organizations in Texas (including Austin Polish Society) were recognized by the President for their role in maintaining Polish heritage, culture, and language here in Texas. Each organization was awarded a Polish flag from President Duda. Magda Szatanik-Boudni received the flag on behalf of Austin Polish Society.
