Austin Polish Society is hosting an annual Easter Egg painting and Palm making workshop and the drowning of “Marzanna” (Frost Maiden).
Decorating and painting eggs is an old Easter tradition in most parts of Poland. We will also show how to make Easter Palms, that are traditional in southern Poland e.g. Silesia and Krakow.
We invite children and adults alike to enjoy some arts and crafts in beautiful surrounding of a River Place Park. Please, bring a basket for an Egg Hunt.
WHEN: Saturday, April 1st @ 1pm – 4pm
