Please, join us for annual Bigos Cook-Off.
Bigos is a delicious traditional Polish dish also known as Polish hunter’s stew.
Bigos recipes vary quite a lot in Poland and here you will have a chance to try many variations of this tasty dish!
There is a covered playscape for children, as well as room for soccer and more. Please come to vote, taste, or just have fun.
WHEN: Saturday – March 17th, 2018
TIME: 2pm to 5pm
WHERE: Woodland Park at River Place (large covered area), 8820 Big View Drive, Austin, TX 78730
TICKETS: $8.00 (APS members) $10.00 for non-members. Children under 12 are free
We provide: sausages, bread, condiments, water, lemonade.
HIKE:
Will start at 5pm . The 1.5-hour hike will start across the street from the picnic area. Comfortable shoes are needed.

To compete you need to provide at least 2 gallons of Bigos in a slow cooker or crock pot (electricity is available).
Each contestant will receive our fashionable APS Bigos Cook-Off apron and the judges will award additional special prizes to the best three cooks.
