A Polish Girl in Siberia tells the extraordinary story of the author’s grandmother, who was deported from Poland to Siberia during World War II. Through one family’s experience, the book explores the broader history of wartime deportations, survival, resilience, and the shared memory of communities affected by the upheavals of the twentieth century.
This evening is envisioned not only as a book event, but as a community gathering bringing together members of the Polish diaspora, scholars, students, and anyone interested in history, memory, and human resilience.

We hope you will join us for this meaningful conversation about history, remembrance, and storytelling.
